Accessibility

Church and blue sky

Like all churches, St Michael & All Angels is open to everyone. We are, of course, aware that if you are disabled, or have young children in a pushchair, you may have some difficulty getting  into the church. Please do not let this put you off, and please ask for help if you need it.

Like many other old, listed buildings, we have some restrictions; however there is an access ramp, and specific space for wheelchairs within the church.  A  path from the Lychgate to the church was laid to help those with wheelchairs and pushchairs.

The access ramp is around the church to the left of the main doorway, through the entry into the lobby where there is also access to the Church Room, disabled toilets and kitchen.  A sign indicates the access ramp.

The church is also equipped with a hearing loop, and large-print service sheets are available.

PARKING - there is disabled parking available close to the church gate.

If you are in any doubt, or if you have any suggestions for improvements, do please ask in church, or contact one of the church wardens or the Parish Administration team.

We are continuing to make further accessibility improvements, please let us know if you have any ideas to help us do this, and please be assured you are always welcome.
