PLEA FOR HELP!
Last year the Village Open Day was a spectacular success, with literally hundreds of people enjoying themselves at the church and on the Village Green. In short, it was a great day. We are now planning for June 2010 and we would like to make it just as much fun. To do this we desperately need more help, and are looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours - or maybe even more if possible. Planning an event like this is actually part of the fun, and you would become part of a lively, active team.
We are particularly looking for someone to lead our promotion/advertising team, as well as someone to help with the planning for the organisation of equipment on the day, help with the barbecue, be part of a team looking after the bouncy castle, or maybe act as a steward, or help with parking plans or parking.
There are lots of opportunities for men and women alike. If you would like to help, do please get in contact as soon as possible.
