Operation Churchyard
A few years ago, the churchyard of St Michael's was placed in the top 12 churchyards in the country in a competition run by the Ecclesiastical Insurance Company. To maintain these high standards, we have a working party from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month. We mow when necessary, prune and lop trees and shrubs, cut hedges, clear up leaves - but above all, we enjoy ourselves.
Extra volunteers are always welcome - just turn up with any suitable tools or equipment and you will be assigned a task. Coffee and biscuits are always provided.

June 6 (Village Open Day on June 13)

August 8
September 12
October 10
November 7 (day prior to Remembrance Day)
December 12
