NEIGHBOURS NOT STRANGERS

The response to the idea of community support for our most vulnerable neighbours during this lockdown has been amazing, thank you. Many of our clubs and societies have arranged to keep in touch with their members, regularly contacting them to make sure everyone has some human contact, and knows someone they can call on if they need help. Several individuals have volunteered, and we have been able to match people who need a little extra support with a neighbour who can check in with them regularly, maybe just to make sure they are OK, or to help with shopping, prescriptions etc.

If you would welcome a extra little support, or just a little human contact there are people willing to help, so please don’t hesitate to contact PeriAid.
